Netflix’s reality show Bling Empire, which focused on a group of Asian-American socialites in Los Angeles, will not be returning for a new season. The decision to cancel both the original series and its spinoff, Bling Empire: New York, has been confirmed by TVLine.

The show was inspired by the success of the movie Crazy Rich Asians and gained popularity quickly after its first season premiered in January 2021, with a second season following in May 2022. Bling Empire boasted a star-studded cast that included model Kevin Taejin Kreider, real estate developer Kane Lim, philanthropist Christine Chiu, plastic surgeon Gabriel Chiu, socialite Anna Shay, DJ Kim Lee, actor Andrew Gray, influencer Jaime Xie, hairdresser/singer Guy Tang and billionaire Dorothy Wang.

One of the show’s stars, Dorothy Wang, later relocated to New York City for a spinoff series called Bling Empire: New York, which aired its only season in January 2023.

Unfortunately, the third and final season of Bling Empire, which was released in October 2022, will be the last for fans of the show. The final season saw Anna reunited with a surprising face from her past, Kane making strides in his fashion career, Christine helping Kevin rekindle an old romance in Paris, and everyone being pulled deeper into the central feud between Christine and Anna.

News of the cancellations of both Bling Empire and Bling Empire: New York was first reported by Deadline, a sister site of TVLine. While the decision to end the show may be disappointing for fans, they can still enjoy the two seasons that have aired and remember the show’s highlights, including the glitz, glamour, and drama that made Bling Empire such a hit.
