Kitten Clung to Car with All Her Might Until Neighbor Saw Her

A compassionate neighbor made a heartwarming discovery when she noticed a tiny kitten desperately clinging to a parked car for its dear life. The little feline was all by itself, seeking refuge beneath the vehicle, and throughout the entire morning, it cried out incessantly for help.
The neighbor, touched by the kitten’s plight, attempted to approach her. However, as she drew near, the frightened kitten immediately retreated into the shadows beneath the car’s fender, her tail tucked between her legs.
After exhausting all possible means to rescue the kitten with no success, the neighbor reached out to a friend for assistance.
Joanie, upon receiving the urgent plea for help, sprang into action. Armed with a humane trap and a tempting assortment of aromatic treats to serve as bait, she positioned the trap beside the car’s tire.
The kitten, driven by hunger, couldn’t resist the lure of the food and, summoning her courage, gradually made her way into the crate.
With the door securely closed behind her, both Joanie and the neighbor breathed a collective sigh of relief.
They searched the area diligently but found no signs of a mother cat or other kittens. The little tabby, now quieted and nourished, began to shed her fear and distress.
The kitten, now identified as Lunah, was no longer afraid as she received the care she needed. Celine from the rescue organization, Chatons Orphelins Montreal, shared, “Lunah was approximately six weeks old and had gum injuries at the front of her mouth. We took her to the vet without delay.”
Under her newfound care, Lunah began to experience a sense of contentment, and her distress dissipated.
A foster family warmly welcomed Lunah, providing her with a comfortable and loving environment where she could heal. After each meal, she sought solace in the company of her caregivers, expressing her gratitude through a symphony of purrs.
In just one week, Lunah made a remarkable recovery, and her true personality began to shine.
“She immediately sought friendship with everyone, including the resident cats. She’s full of energy and enjoys the company of humans and fellow felines alike,” Celine revealed.
Lunah’s days are filled with playfulness, and she finds joy in the simplest of things. “She enjoys running around and can play for hours, only to suddenly fall asleep mid-play.”
She’s a people-loving cat, often trailing her humans closely, displaying inquisitiveness and social charm. She’s never hesitant to express her desires through sweet little meows.
“She adores companionship and purrs instantly when you pet or cuddle her.”
Lunah insists on sharing bedtime with her people, clinging to them every night. “When we watch TV, she comes over and sits on our chest or neck, so she can fall asleep on us. She purrs and even attempts to groom us.”
“If she craves attention, she’ll seek us out for it, and her sweet meows make it impossible to ignore her.”
Lunah is now living her best life, enjoying on-demand cuddles, napping wherever she pleases, and reveling in a carefree existence.
