I found him in a cemetery, emaciated, exhausted, dehydrated and barely breathing | Animals

In a cemetery, I found Mau, a two-year-old dog. He was so thin that he looked almost like a skeleton. Also, he was tired, thirsty and his breathing was so shallow that he was helpless on the side of the road. Many people were passing him, but no one cared because they thought he was dead.
As I looked at Mau, I couldn’t stop the tears from filling my eyes. I was sorry for his sad fate. I got Mau out of that horrible place quickly. All the vets were closed because it was a holiday, so I needed to take him home. I tried to feed him, but he wouldn’t eat. He laid down in a corner and seemed very sad. By 8:00 am Mau and I were at the veterinary hospital.
The doctor rushed him to get an MRI because he thought he might have a spinal problem. The results surprised me. By this time he had two bullets, one in front of his chest and one in the middle of his spine. They had been in Mau’s body for a long time and it would be very difficult to get rid of them.
All indications of the liver, kidneys and digestive system were very low, and there was no sign of infection. It was terrible and painful for people who had to live like this every day. He slowly recovered as the doctor tried to find a way to get rid of the bullet. But Mau never got a miracle. His body just stopped being able to walk at all. Even though it was very sad, the most important thing was that Mau was still there with me.
The hospital sent our sweet, calm, and quiet little boy home. Doctors didn’t want to take the chance because they thought the surgery would be very problematic.
