Homemade Fudgesicles Recipe
Posted October 9, 2023 by: Admin
Indulging in fudgesicles during the summer is a timeless pleasure. As a child, I always chose fudgesicles over popsicles without hesitation. I mean, who can resist chocolate over fruit? It’s a no-brainer! However, it’s worth noting that store-bought fudgesicles and chocolate popsicles often harbor some concerning ingredients. So, creating your own homemade version is a far superior choice. I’m confident that these wholesome homemade fudgesicles could deceive even the most discerning kids and adults.
Now, I don’t mean to be the bearer of bad news, but if you’ve ever read the ingredient list on a typical Fudgsicle package, I’m sure you’d share my concerns. Even if they boast being “only 100 calories,” ingredients like “sugar, corn syrup solids, high fructose corn syrup, malted barley extract, and polysorbate,” among others, are far more important than any calorie count. A good rule of thumb is to avoid consuming anything with ingredients that baffle you. If you wouldn’t use it in your own kitchen, why let a factory use it for you?
This straightforward recipe for healthy homemade fudgesicles is so easy that even children can make them. Prepared with coconut milk and sweetened naturally with honey, these homemade fudgesicles are not only dairy-free and gluten-free but also bursting with flavor, making them a delightful summer treat.
