Husky
In northern regions, huskies are used for pulling sleds, for sled dog racing and adventure rides. But they can be dangerous to small animals because of their strong predatory instincts and are known to be quite destructive if they get bored.
Alaskan Malamutes
As its name tells us, this breed of dog is native to Alaska. Over time, the Malamute has been replaced by the Siberian Huskies for their speed. As they are independent, they can be difficult to train and are not as trustworthy as guard dogs. If they get bored, they become disobedient, destructive, and prefer to make their own decisions. If you are a family with children, adopting the Malamute is strongly not recommended.
